According to the producer, in XPS 15 and 17 thanks to failure from the USB connector Type-A (the adapter with USB Type-C goes on Type-A in a set) it was succeeded to reduce thickness of devices: thickness of 15-inch XPS 15 is 0.7 inches (about 1.78 cm). The senior 17-inch model has thickness 0.8 inches (2.03 cm). Both portable working machines are constructed on the Intel processors Core H-серии of the 10th (as much as possible - i9-10885H). The XPS 15 model can be equipped with graphics of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti, XPS 17 - GeForce 1650 Ti or GeForce RTX 2060.

2019: Dell XPS 13 2 in 1 and XPS 15

On May 30, 2019 the company Dell Technologies provided two notebook Dell XPS 13 2 in 1 and XPS 15.

According to the producer, XPS 13 notebook 2 in 1 offers modern, thinner design of the PC and high performance. the 13.4-inch InfinityEdge display in a format 4:10 p.m. offers high quality of the picture on all field of the screen and the view pane increased by 7%. The small Dell webcam for notebooks is located on an upper frame. The display with options of FHD+ and UHD + offers the high accuracy of a color rendition and permission, providing image clarity, and the panel of UHD+ certified according to HDR400 and Dolby Vision will allow to enjoy content of HDR.

Thanks to adding of the Eyesafe display, Dell it was succeeded to reduce potentially dangerous radiation of blue light, having saved at the same time a color gamma. The company signed the partnership agreement with Eyesafe for intellectual management of light selectively to reduce harmful blue light and to disseminate it through all light range. Developers also managed to increase the capacity of the provided PCs due to transition from earlier used bezventilyatorny on actively cooled 15-watt construction. It allowed to raise by 2.5 times performance in comparison with the previous generation of the PC, claim in Dell.

According to the statement of the producer, the updated 15.6-inch Dell XPS 15 notebook offers big computing power thanks to processors Intel Core of the 9th generation – to 8-core i9 – and NVIDIA GeForce GTX diagram 1650. It the graphic design, the photo or music allows creators of content to receive high speeds at all levels, whether it be. The model is equipped with the 15.6-inch touch display UltraSharp 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) InfinityEdge which provides the high brightness, saturated color and exact transfer of parts, allowing creators of content to work with the most difficult projects effectively. XPS 15 offers the option OLED with the self-highlighted pixels which are completely disconnected for achievement of ideal black color and higher contrast. The display 4K in combination with content of Dolby Vision, according to the producer, allows to create the hi-res picture.

Adding of Killer AX1650 based on a set of chips of Intel WiFi 6 provides, according to Dell, almost by 3 times big capacity in the "noisy" circle, than the PC of the previous generation. In combination with 64 GB of memory and PCIe SSD with a capacity of 2 TB and also a progressive tense of independent operation, consumers receive the high-performance device, the producer claims.

As noted in Dell, XPS 15 is delivered with the camera for the notebook in an upper frame of the screen, without sacrificing at the same time the InfinityEdge display. In design of a product developers used quality materials, including the aluminum processed on the CNC, carbon fiber and the Gorilla Glass glass to create the strong and compact notebook.
