Biography

Sergey Mordasov was born on November 13, 1980 in Tambov.

In 2002 he graduated from Tambov State Technical University with a degree in Electrification and Automation of Agriculture.

In 2008 - Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics, specialty "Organization Management."

In 2013 - Moscow International Higher School of Business "MIRBIS," qualification MBA "Management in the telecommunications industry."

In the communications industry, Sergey has been working since 2003 and has gone from a service delivery site manager to a director of the Tambov branch of Rostelecom PJSC.

In 2017, he became one of the 100 winners of the first Leaders contest, Russia where he represented Tambov the Black Earth Region in the singular. After winning the competition, Sergey Mordasov, in addition to his main activity, became the head of the competence center for the development of infrastructure telecommunication and provision of residential real estate for low-rise buildings of the Center MYFF.

2019: Director of Rostelecom Rostov Branch

On June 4, 2019, Sergey Mordasov was appointed director of the Rostov branch of Rostelecom PJSC. In this post, he replaced Sergei Alkhasov, who headed the branch from 2013 to 2019. Since June 1, 2021, Sergey Mordasov has been appointed vice president - director of the macro-regional branch "South" of PJSC Rostelecom. The company announced this on May 24, 2021. In this post, he will replace Denis Lysov in connection with his transfer to the post of head of the central macro-region of the company. The corresponding order was signed by the president of Rostelecom Mikhail Oseevsky.

With the support of regional authorities, the branch began introducing the Digital Region concept, aimed at digitalizing key industries.

The Safe City hardware and software complex has been created, which on a single Netris platform ensures the safety of citizens in all 55 municipalities, including in remote rural areas. Projects have been implemented to create smart lighting systems and other elements of the Smart City platform in most large municipalities of the region. Thanks to the initiative of Sergei Mordasov, the Rostov Region was among the five pilot regions where an experiment is being conducted, in which medical institutions provide free online consultations through the State Services portal. Sergey also has a large-scale project together with the leading universities of Rostov-on-Don "Digital Education," aimed at developing the necessary competencies for the digital economy among students.
