Haytek and the Government of the Republic of Karelia agreed about cooperation

On June 6, 2019 agreement signature about cooperation between Haytek group and the Republic of Karelia took place. The document was signed by the Chairman of the board of directors of Haytek Nikolay Ivenev and the Governor of Karelia Artur Parfenchikov.

The agreement provides development of long-term cooperation between the parties for the purpose of project implementation, directed to intensive mastering and active implementation of cognitive technologies. One of important articles of agreement is coordination of the programs necessary for implementation in the region of the innovation projects, in particular creation of end-to-end technologies on the basis of domestic developments. Also the parties are going to perform interaction concerning use of the latest technologies for implementation in the territory of Karelia of actions for implementation and development of the innovation activity.

Realizing the value of cooperation of the state and commercial sector and considering importance of project implementation within the Digital Economy program, designed to accelerate digital transformation of Russia, the parties agreed about permanent information exchange, creation of the joint working groups, exchange of specialists and delegations.

The agreement provides the organization and holding meetings, scientific conferences and seminars with involvement of expert community as participants expressed mutual interest in joint discussion of topical issues of information and communication technologies.

We expect that the signed agreement will become an impulse to development in Karelia of research base in the different directions of information technologies and also will increase the innovation attractiveness of the region. From the Government of the Republic support of all initiatives which implementation will be necessary within our cooperation will be given — Artur Parfenchikov, the Governor of Karelia noted.
