Goods.ru with assistance of EPAM started mobile application

On June 10, 2019 it became known of what in the spring of 2019 marketplace of goods.ru started mobile application for buyers, synchronized with the www.goods.ru online platform. The project was executed together with the company EPAM Systems. The solution works at platforms iOS and Android and is available in AppStore and Google Play.

As it was reported, in mobile application search of the necessary goods from the goods directory .ru both through a text request, and with the help is implemented scannings barcodes. Users can filter and sort goods by several parameters, make the list of favorites, add shopping to cart, pay purchases, including using bonus rubles, create and save the addresses for delivery. At the same time data about the chosen goods and positions added to cart and also history orders and information on participation in the loyalty program are completely synchronized on the website and in the application and are updated in real time.

The development of design of mobile application which is carried out by the goods.ru command became a separate stage of the project. Idle time and pure visual style, specially drawn unique illustrations, a format of submission of text information, convenient for perception, use of visual markers (icons, trigger buttons, headings) do work with the application easier and comfortable. Special attention was paid to study of the interface regarding a response to actions of the user.

For the first weeks of operation of application the following trend was outlined: the average bill of the buyers who made the first order is nearly 20% higher than the average check of regular buyers. At this AOV of users of IOS, as well as conversion in the order, above, than users have Android.
