2019: Solution development "Galenos. Audit"

On June 14, 2019 the TechLAB company announced development of IT solution "to Galenos. Audit" for support of monitoring of quality and completeness of delivery of health care to onkopatsiyenta in regions. A system is intended for the help to the doctors who are carrying out monitoring of regional oncological medical institutions in collecting and processing of medical information. IT solution is developed based on the medical IT platform TechLAB Galenos.

As noted in TechLAB, malignant new growths are one of the most common causes of death rate of patients in Russia. Despite decline in mortality from cancer over the country in general, almost it continues to grow in a third of regions of Russia, by data for 2017. To reduce cancer mortality by 7.8% by 2024, in comparison with 2017 that is provided by the national Health care project, it is necessary to improve continuously quality and completeness of the medical care available to patients in regions. It is important that doctors, including from regional medical institutions, had an access to the modern equipment. It would allow to reveal oncological diseases at early stages and to render to patients the timely and hi-tech help.

For the quality control of treatment exercised in regions monitorings of regional oncological services are carried out. Within monitoring doctors of the largest federal oncological centers estimate infrastructure parameters, personnel and technical providing medical institutions, correctness and correctness of maintaining medical records, registers and other medical documentation. It is huge handwork on collecting and data processing which are usually stored in separate sources and are irregularly updated.

For the help to the doctors who are carrying out monitoring, specialists of TechLAB IT company developed an automated system on the Galenos platform. It accelerates process of data collection and simplifies process of their analysis and formation of recommendations from the organization performing monitoring.

According to the developer, IT solution completely systematizes work on remote data collection. It contains the detailed questionnaires developed in strict accordance with regulatory requirements to processes of oncological services. A system operates with the information about the personnel structure of medical institutions, their equipment the equipment and medicines, data on quantity and a variety of the rendered medical services, statistical data, etc. During exit monitoring auditors can use IT tools for assessment of criteria of quality. With their help it is possible to estimate compliance of surgical interventions, chemotherapy, the radiation therapy which is carried out to patients with the clinical recommendations of the Russian Ministry of Health. These are some kind of specialized "cheklist" for selection check of clinical records for compliance to treatment algorithms.
