"Footwear of Russia" will conduct procurement through electronic marketplaces

On June 21, 2019 the Footwear of Russia group announced transition to other system of corporate purchases. Now the Group will purchase goods and services through B2B-Center electronic marketplace. It will allow Footwear of Russia to make a purchasing system more competitive, transparent and managed, to increase quality of selection of suppliers and to reduce the cost of the purchased goods and services.

In 2018 the Group tested tender approach at purchase computer and office equipments, using the corporate website as the platform. In 2019 the company began to carry out purchase of separate services, cooperating with third-party electronic platform. Test projects yielded positive results therefore the decision to pass to a tender system at implementation of purchase of any goods and services was made.

Thanks to implementation of a tender system we will reduce cost value of purchases, at the same time we will expand a circle of suppliers and we will increase quality of the purchased goods and services.
