2025: Launch of full electronic bill of lading exchange
STD "Petrovich" became one of the largest retailers who launches a full-fledged exchange. electronic waybills The project was implemented logistic using a service DropCat and an integration platform from LinKServer the IS operator. Ediweb EPD This was Ediweb announced on December 19, 2025.
One of the business areas of STD Petrovich is the shipment of construction and finishing materials to wholesale buyers engaged in construction and development. Hired vehicles are used to deliver orders, which makes it necessary to use waybills. The transition to ETrN was a strategic step in preparing for the mandatory introduction of electronic transportation documents in Russia from 2026. Previously, transportation in a trading house was carried out without legally significant electronic document management.
The first partner in the implementation of ETrN was Setl Group. Setl Group contractors purchased a wide range of goods for construction and decoration of premises from STD Petrovich. Three parties are involved in the supply chain: Petrovich as a shipper, Setl Group contractor as a consignee and carriers. The implemented solution allows you to correctly draw up all regulatory titles of ETrN in full compliance with the requirements of the regulator.
The process is now automated:
- Petrovich forms the title of shipper (T1) in 1C and sends it via REST API to LinkServer;
- LinkServer checks, verifies and transfers the document to DropCat;
- The carrier and consignee exchange titles (T2-T4) directly at DropCat;
- All ETrH statuses are synchronized in real time, and managers see - the cargo is accepted, rejected or redirection is required.
Particular attention is paid to complex scenarios: in case of an error in the delivery address, the system supports correct forwarding through the formation of a new title of the consignee.
The peculiarity of the project lies in its seamless integration into the existing IT infrastructure. Petrovich did not have to rebuild processes or introduce fundamentally new software.
In the near future - scaling the solution on all key logistics partners, automation of incoming ETs.
2024: Automation of EDI Messaging with Wholesale Customers
Ediweb helped the Petrovich trading house launch a major project to automate the exchange of EDI messages with wholesale buyers. Ediweb announced this on February 6, 2025.
The project went from the summer of 2022 to the autumn of 2024. Its scale was about 12 thousand people-hours. The goal of STD Petrovich was to create a single channel for processing wholesale orders, reduce the labor costs of the wholesale department, reduce the order processing time from several hours to several minutes, replace manual operations with documents and data automation, improve the quality of service and customer loyalty due to order accuracy. It was also important for STD Petrovich to enable wholesale buyers to independently manage orders, provide access to up-to-date data on prices and balances, promote sales growth and improve financial performance.
The peculiarity of the project is in the close integration IT infrastructures STD "Petrovich" ERP with its counterparties-buyers, which ensures a seamless process of ordering goods. The company did not have to radically change its processes under the restrictions of the solutions being implemented. The solutions were adapted to the tasks of STD Petrovich.
Technologically, the project is a comprehensive solution based on the integration platform LinkServer, EDO platform CorePlat and connectors for 1C from Ediweb. The solution provides the connection of STD Petrovich with the accounting systems of its wholesale buyers and automated data exchange during orders and shipments.
LinkServer acts as an integration hub, providing the transfer of large amounts of data between systems, their automated processing according to predetermined conditions. CorePlat is responsible for directly processing EDI messages as an EDI provider platform.
Given the variety of customized 1C configurations among counterparties, in-depth analysis and elaboration of specific business processes was required. Each integration required an individualized approach, making design and testing more difficult. The low level of digitalization among a number of counterparties created additional difficulties. They needed to be trained to work with EDI, to hold individual sessions with each counterparty.

At the current stage, it was possible to implement EDI exchange with 20 large wholesale buyers on orders, sending responses to an order, notifications about shipment. The process, which began in 2024, continued in 2025.
The performance solution is such that the time to add a new item is no more than 1 minute on the SKU. Representatives of STD "Petrovich" noted that the time for processing orders decreased by 4 times, and the number of errors decreased from 6% to 0.1%.
Companies continue to cooperate both within the framework of this project and in related IT tasks.
