Content

2020: Implementation of AI technology for underwriting in VHI

On August 17, 2020 it became known that the group SOGAZ implemented the technological solution allowing to predict more precisely the volume of receiving medical care by new corporate clients on the voluntary medical insurance (VMI) and the corresponding payments to medical institutions. The Mains Lab command acted as the partner in the project.

In this technology predictive models which predict behavior of more than 70 signs insured on the basis are used. With their help underwriters of SOGAZ can calculate within several minutes with what frequency, in what clinics and in what volume insured will receive medical care. At the same time integration into external data, accounting of macroparameters and regular after-training allow technology to consider constantly changing environment.

Process of implementation of this technology lasted over a year. At the first stage preparation, structuring and replenishment of historical data was performed. After that training of predictive models, search and adaptation of significant signs began. Process in commercial operation came to the end with testing of technology and its input.

Implementation of this technology allowed SOGAZ to provide new corporate clients with better and objective tariffing.

The implemented technology allowed to increase forecast accuracy by 1.5-2 times and several times accelerated this process. The commercial effect is expressed that the company reduced a share of unprofitable business and began to offer more attractive prices for profitable customers. We are convinced that further use of machine learning will allow to strengthen positions of SOGAZ in a segment of voluntary medical insurance and will increase service quality of our clients".[1]

2019: Use of the chat-bot for communications with potential employees

July 30, 2019 insurance The group "SOGAZ" announced the beginning of use on the information platforms technologies chat-bot for communications with potential employees.

The chat-bot represents the interactive assistant who is trained to answer frequently asked questions on behalf of Directorate on personnel of JSC SOGAZ. It is created for these and future candidates for substitution of vacant positions that they could obtain information on the Company and offered working conditions and also to respond quickly to the vacancy interesting them.

For July, 2019 the technology round the clock works at three resources — the career website of SOGAZ and also at pages of Directorate on personnel in social networks "VKontakte" and Facebook.

SOGAZ keeps up to date, keeps up with modern technologies and applies the best practices in the work. The chat-bot — not the first technology with artificial intelligence which we implemented. For example, with search and call-down of candidates we are helped by the robot recruiter, and with carrying out the next stage of assessment — service of a video interview and testing. Further we are going to use in work of HR divisions and other technological solutions directed to optimization and increase in process performance of personnel management
