2021: Receiving a grant in the amount of 20 million rubles

On January 21, 2021 the developer company of insurance IT solutions of MAINS Lab announced passing of competitive selection of Fund of Assistance to Innovations and received a grant in the amount of 20 million rubles. Experts of fund highly appreciated recent development of the company – technology which will allow to automate settlement process of losses and to reduce time of receiving the direction for car repairs to 20 minutes. Money will be allocated for improvement of speed and accuracy of work of this technology.

In December, 2020 Mains Lab, the resident of Skolkovo Foundation, announced the technological solution under the name "Second" which using artificial intelligence will be able to analyze photos of damages and also to count the repair cost and the amount of insurance payments literally in several minutes. For January, 2021 a system already passed test for 3,000 cases – using use of the online analysis it was succeeded to reach the accuracy of 97%, a system fulfills such percent of cases with an accuracy of the expert-person or it is better. In addition, at specialists of the company it turned out to reduce duration of all process of work on an insured event to 20 minutes - earlier this process took from several hours to several days.

This technology is absolutely new to the Russian market is and also depth of scientific development and high degree of adaptivity for steel market decisive factors when choosing the winner on receiving a financial support.

We are proud of the product and are very glad that its potential was noted at the state level. Very strict selection at a large number of requests is characteristic of this tender, and the fact of receiving a grant is a conclusive proof of the fact that our idea has big perspectives. We are going to invest the received money in improvement of technology, increasing its accuracy and speed of work. Though for January, 2021 use of artificial intelligence allowed to reduce settlement of an insured event to 20 minutes, we do not see a limit to perfection and we will work on that the speed of work of our technological solution was even higher, - the CEO of MAINS Lab Yury Kuvshinov commented.

The technology already passed pilot tests in insurance companies in Russia and in the nearest future will be started in work.
