X-Com upgraded an information system of Military Mechanical Institute

2019: Integration of the client systems and expansion of the park of a printing equipment

On August 1, 2019 the H-Com company announced project completion of scaling and upgrade of IT infrastructure of the Baltic state technical university "MILITARY MECHANICAL INSTITUTE" of D.F. Ustinov. Within the project the information system of organization switches on additional servers, the client systems are integrated and also the park of a printing equipment of educational institution is expanded.

The project team booked audit of an information system of the customer, including the server hardware, the client systems and network infrastructure. It allowed to reveal bottlenecks of a hardware and software system of organization. Also the analysis of workflows of the university and structure of its paper document flow was carried out. On the basis of data retrieveds detailed recommendations to structure of the equipment were created, its detailed specifications are made and the engineering design is developed.

In the project X-Com used servers and self-produced workstations that allowed to create the solution, the most full corresponding to requirements of the university and the best ratio the price/performance. For work with documentation infrastructure of the university includes printers HP Designjet T520 also MFP Kyocera M4125idn. Continuous functioning of the equipment is ensured uninterruptible power supply units.

The contractor of the project was selected from the course of an open competition which participants had to have the confirmed experience of cooperation with public institutions of the educational sector. The winner of competition recognizes the company X-Com which offered the most financial and reasonable sales terms of the project and further service maintenance of the created solution.

The project is executed in strict accordance with terms of the contract on the volume and terms. The quality management system operating in the company conforming to the international standard ISO 9001-2011 (ISO 9001-2008) in combination with multi-layer system of testing at all production phases, guarantee high quality of products. All equipment is affected by a three-year guarantee.
