2019: Selection of 1.55 billion rubles on purchase of the Russian software

On August 1, 2019 it became known that the child structure of Rostelecom — "Information security" ("cybersecurity RTK") — selected with RTK for Russian software and "iron" for ensuring information security of 1.55 billion rubles.

In particular, on July 19, 2019 the company announced the tender in a format of an open quotation request electronically on assignment of rights of use of the computer programs and delivery of copies of software of Kaspersky Lab to 252.6 million rubles. As it appears from the documents posted on the website of state procurements upon termination of order taking the applicants list on the agreement was limited to only one participant. His name and the amount of the offer in a public access are not provided yet.

Several days later, on July 24, 2019 the same company announced the tender in the same format for assignment of rights of use of the computer programs and supply of equipment and copies of software of Infotecs on 1.3 billion rubles. Requests from applicants are accepted till August 1, 2019. Determination of the winner is planned for August 15.

On a question what sort problems are going to be solved with the help of the specified software and the equipment, customer representatives were limited to the message that "it is the frame agreements necessary for rendering to customers services in information security support, including within integration projects".

Within purchase of software of Kaspersky of "cybersecurity RTK" intends to purchase different software for protection of virtual and cloud environments, mail servers, Internet gateways and also standard and expanded software packages for multilevel protection of the Kaspersky Endpoint Security enterprise.

As for the second purchase, it concerns different modifications of the hardware and software systems (HSS) of Infotecs company and the related softwares and certificates of technical support.

In particular, it is about PACK ICES of ViPNet Coordinator HW — family of the gateways of security which are a part of a product line of ViPNet Network Security ViPNet IDS — complexes for detection of the invasions into information systems functioning on the basis of dynamic analysis of network and applied traffic of a stack of protocols TCP/IP, firewalls ViPNet xFirewall — "next generations" which are established on network edge provide traffic filtering at all levels, allow to create the granulated security policy on the basis of accounts of users and a list of applications, ViPNet Coordinator KB — complexes for ensuring safe transfer data between the protected segments of a virtual network ViPNet according to a class of security^[1].
