2019: Deployment of a wireless network in ten shops in Moscow and St. Petersburg
On August 13, 2019 it became known that the company Aruba, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, the producer of products and solutions for networks of the last generation, announced completion of works on deployment of a wireless network in ten shops in Moscow and St. Petersburg of the international perfumery and cosmetic network Sephora which is a part of the LVMH group.
The network is built from scratch, based on switches 2930F which provide capacity to 1 Gbps. This model of switches differs in the high performance and profitability and also has functions of connection of access points, video cameras and IoT-devices.
For the organization of stable high-speed Internet access from any device Aruba AP305 access points — the optimal choice for the wireless environment with a low density of connections were selected. For wireless access in places with high concentration of visitors and employees high-speed access points of Aruba AP305 of wave2 standard 802.11ac were used.
According to the work plan, project implementation began in 2018 and took place in several stages. All preparatory work, with the subsequent deployment and complete setup of network, was carried completely out by specialists of Sephora.
