Specialists of PJSC JSC "Proton"-PM (enters into the integrated structure of JSC NPO Energomash) began to digitize in the summer of 2019 technology processes on production of parts and assembly units of the RD-191 engine and other products of space-rocket subject.

It is the next stage of the project on system implementation of PLM (product lifecycle management) based on the solution Teamcenter.

Within project work from March to June, 2019 specialists booked audit of technology forms – technical process design options, estimated an opportunity to simplify them and to refuse excessive documents. Also reference books were reviewed (the tool, the equipment, a container, individual protection equipment and others), approval routes are developed. 120 standard forms of technical processes which are now digitized are as a result selected.

The Teamcenter platform is already used in work with some customers of the enterprise, for example, with JSC ODK-Aviadvigatel within production of gas turbine power stations of a series Ural. There is information filling of databases on space subject: the structure of four products and 1600 routes of the movement of parts and assembly units of rocket engines is completely entered to Teamcenter.

It is going to set more than 200 jobs of Teamcenter, 100 of them are already connected to a system at present. In addition to it a number of specialists of the enterprise were trained based on NPO Energomash. On its basis own, more subject rate which was mastered by 47 technologists is developed.

It is going to digitize technical processes on the RD-191 engine in 2022. Also during 2019 integration of PLM and ERP systems (resource management of the enterprise) is provided.

The head of department of information systems and technologies of PJSC JSC "Proton"-PM Luchansky Igor[1] tells about implementation at the enterprise of the principles of end-to-end product lifecycle management[2].

In recent years our enterprise is in the mode of permanent mastering, large-scale upgrade and modernization are carried out. New calls require efficiency at all stages of production management. We got the first experience of system implementation of product lifecycle management of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) in 2013. Then JSC "Proton"-PM one of industry-first decided to use this software product. Today we restart this project as, first, were a part of the integrated structure of rocket engine building and should construct an information system on model of JSC NPO Energomash. And secondly, the platform of a PLM system was updated.

From March to June, 2019 the project team under the leadership of the chief technologist of PJSC JSC "Proton"-PM Artyom Tselishchev worked. Audit of technology forms – options of a design of technical process with assessment of an opportunity to simplify them and to refuse excessive documents is booked, reference books are reviewed (the tool, the equipment, a container, individual protection equipment and others), approval routes are developed. At this stage we selected 120 standard forms of technical processes which we digitize now.

In parallel with filling of a system there is equipment of jobs the computer equipment: we are going to set more than 200 jobs of a PLM system. At present 100 of them are already connected to a system. I will note that updating of the computer park will concern technology and design departments. In addition to it a number of specialists were already trained based on NPO Energomash. On its basis we developed own, more subject rate which was mastered by 47 technologists. For example, employees of the central technology department studied a shop-to-shop routing message (routes of the movement of parts and assembly units. – An editor's note), and technologists of technical bureau – technical processes.

Today we already use a PLM system in work with JSC ODK-Aviadvigatel within production of the Ural GTPP. There is information filling of databases on other subjects. So, on the missile and space equipment the structure of products and 1600 shop-to-shop routings is completely brought to PLM системуе. Further it is necessary to understand that digitization of technical processes requires a lot of time, for example on the RD-191 engine on it 25 thousand normo-hours will leave. If we involve in this process ten people on complete change, then they need about 12 years! But technologists set for themselves an ambitious task to complete this work in 2022. Specialists of other services and students of profile educational institutions will be for this purpose involved.

Also other processes, such, for example, as the order of the tool do not remain unaddressed. Until the end of 2019 we are going to digitize the diagram of preparation of production. Now we decide what tool for this purpose to use. So, in NPO Energomash it is made using MS Project Server. I think that we will follow their example. Also work on integration of PLM and ERP systems which will be carried out step by step is organized. As a result information from one environment will be automatically transferred to another.

System implementation of PLM at our enterprise – one more tool to increase labor productivity. It is sure that with its help we will manage to reduce time for information search, to provide transparency of product lifecycle for heads, to provide data to specialists in real time, to automate approval and making changes in technical processes.
