2026: Open Context Support
SATEL on January 27, 2026 announced the launch of an updated version of the ZIAX dialogue platform. The updated solution offers advanced artificial intelligence for communication between the robot and users, technologies for optimizing load and efficiently processing customer requests.
ZIAX is a platform for creating text chatbots and voice robots that help companies automate customer interaction, quickly process applications and provide live real-time communication. The peculiarity of the platform consists in the use of a context-intensive model developed by ZIAX specialists, which allows the robot to navigate between the main and secondary topics in a dialogue with the user and accurately capture all requests. This approach is better than other technologies for understanding natural language.
One of the key changes in ZIAX is support for open context. The robot is able to conduct relaxed conversations with users on a variety of topics, while maintaining the ability to return to the main task and help solve specific issues, as well as apply the technology of adding information from the knowledge base (RAG) in open contexts. Thus, customers get a more comfortable communication experience, and the system becomes more flexible, responsive and trainable.
Another important change concerns the efficient allocation of server resources when handling a large number of simultaneous calls. The developers have implemented an internal load balancer for speech recognition ZIAX ASR and voice generation ZIAX TTS, which allows you to cope with a large amount of incoming calls, regardless of the degree of user activity. This ensures uninterrupted operation of hardware resources even during peak periods, minimizes the risk of failure and improves overall system performance.
In addition to the capabilities, SATEL specialists carried out a large-scale modernization of the existing functionality. Thus, hybrid search using RAG technology has been improved, which allows you to better recognize downloaded documents in the knowledge base and more accurately use information in generated responses. The technology of slot-filling has been improved to recognize semantic constructs in the user's request, even if there are typos or misinterpretations. Other components have also been upgraded, including tools for integrating generative models and improving the overall stability of the platform.

Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation included the ZIAX dialog platform in Unified Register of Russian Programs for Electronic Computers and Databases"." The company SATEL announced this on March 10, 2021.

2019: Functionality
Ziax uses machine learning to understand what the interlocutor is saying. The robot can track the context of the dialogue and understand the intention of the interlocutor, it also highlights the data that is embedded in the interlocutor's phrase. The robot uses a context-intensive model in its work; this model is close to the work of the human brain. Intentas (from the English intent - intention) are the main link in the sentence that allows you to judge the user's intention to do something (for example, ask a question). Intenta is combined by contexts, context is a link between Intentas. This is different from training neural networks that run on statmodels and give probabilistic answers, assuming they will be correct.
For speech recognition and generation (abbreviated ASR and TTS), Yandex speech kit and solutions of the "Center for Speech Technologies" are used, and then text is analyzed, i.e. Intentas are highlighted. Highlight Intentas is the development of Ziax.
Ziax does not give probabilistic answers: he either knows him or he does not. Companies with large call centers need such a voice robot to replace call center employees with automated programs. This will reduce costs and improve the quality of service - the client will not spend time waiting for the operator to free up.
