Novartis of Pharm (EDMS)

The project on the implementing solution e-Onboarding, developed based on a document management system and business processes DocsVision MOSS 4.1 and 2007 in Novartis of Pharm company is complete. e-Onboarding provides control of creation and passing of requests for a design of new staff of the company.

At solution development the task to automate all stages of the procedure of acceptance, registration and inclusion in workflow of new employees Novartis of Pharm was set: creation of the request for a design of the employee, its approval, processing and execution in different divisions of the company. In the solution functions of control of performing discipline and formation of analytical reports are implemented. Implementation of a new system continued from August to November, 2009.

Taking into account already developed IT infrastructure Novartis of Pharm, important advantage of the solution e-Onboarding proposed by Digital Design became a possibility of its integration with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 – MOSS 2007. The possibility of use of a subsystem of WorkFlow and support of functionality of remote collective work with documents became other important factors which caused the choice of the solution based on DocsVision.

As Evgeny Sambu, the project manager from Digital Design noted, "similar solutions based on the DocsVision system can be demanded in the large companies and the centralized holdings where process of acceptance, a design and inclusion of the new employee in workflow often multi-level and multi-stage".

In plans Novartis of Pharm – connection of new divisions to a system and adding of new routes of passing of the request.
