2019: Tests of a mobile radio complex of wireless underwater communication of IVA S/W

On August 30, 2019 the IVA Technologies company reported that with assistance of the authorized distributor of the equipment for law enforcement agencies and military Pacific Aman Garda (PAG) completed tests of a mobile radio complex of wireless underwater communication of IVA S/W in the territory of Indonesia. Engineers of the company together with mobile crew (Mobile Brigade Corps) which is a part of National police (POLRI), and the division of sea special troops (Indonesian Marine Corps) which is a part of navy of Indonesia (Indonesian Navy) carried out successful tests in the educational and training pool and to water areas of the Java Sea based on which the operability of a mobile radio complex on the organization of a voice communication in sea and sweet water between divers and also between divers and the commander of descent who is on a surface was confirmed.

During tests police and military seamen tested the equipment of the Russian developer – held radio communication sessions between scuba divers as a part of group and also from under water on a surface, through limit of the section of environments (water-air), with the commander of descent. Using a radio complex signal transmission, despite disorders, temperature differences in water layers and natural obstacles was performed. According to the results of last tests a number of arrangements on deliveries of a mobile radio complex of wireless underwater communication of IVA S/W was reached.

The radio station represents the device consisting of the block of the transceiver, a reception and transferring antennas. Dimensions of antennas allow to locate them on equipment of divers, without creating noises for the movement. The principle of operation of the device is based on distribution of electromagnetic waves. The full-front mask with the built-in headset of communication is also included in the delivery.

The solution provides signal transmission at distance to 500 meters under water and up to 60 meters through limit of the section of environments (water-ice-air). Besides, the device saves working capacity after immersion on depth to 100 meters and can independently work till 8 o'clock.
