Rostelecom and Kuzbass signed the agreement on cooperation

2019: The agreement on cooperation concerning implementation of scientific and technical and innovation projects

On September 4, 2019 the Rostelecom company reported that together with the government of the Kemerovo region signed the agreement on cooperation concerning implementation of scientific and technical and innovation projects of Kuzbass scientific and education center in the territory of the region. The document was signed the governor of the Kemerovo region – Kuzbass Sergey Tsivilev and the president of PJSC Rostelecom Mikhail Oseevsky.

The agreement defines cooperation of the parties for development of the mechanisms and programs directed to creating favorable conditions for scientific and social and economic development of Kuzbass including within the national program "Digital economy of Russia", federal projects "Science", "Education", "Health care" and others.

At Rostelecom company the rich experience of project implementation for digital economy in regions of Russia is accumulated. Our cooperation with Kuzbass assumes high-quality change of a digital medium in the region. It concerns development of telecommunication infrastructure, increase in level of comfort and security of the urban environment, implementation of modern technologies in health care and education that will help to increase quality of life and to solve a part of regional problems, noted Mikhail Oseevsky, the president of PJSC Rostelecom

The agreement is signed for a period of five years. During this time the parties are also going to define the perspective directions of scientific research in the field of fuel and energy complex, in energy saving and also in metallurgy, mechanical engineering and in the development area of coal and slate fields.

The governor of the Kemerovo region Sergey Tsivilev emphasized that digitalization of Kuzbass is a zone of special attention of all region. All branches of the economy are involved in these programs: major problems on digitalization stand at the Kuzbass education, health care, housing and public utilities, the industry, ecology.

We set the task to involve as much as possible inhabitants in problems of development of the region, to provide fast and transparent dialog of the power and society for ourselves, and digitalization of processes allows to react and define quickly optimal solutions of any questions, noted Sergey Tsivilev
