2019: Upgrade of a system "Uniform transport portal "Moscow Transport"

On September 6, 2019 the Software product company reported that there was the winner of an open competition on development of the system automated information "A uniform transport portal "Moscow Transport". The Center of the organization of traffic of the Government of Moscow acts as the customer. The main objective of the project – to make the portal more convenient and functional, including for those residents of the Moscow region who work in the capital and regularly about 1 million people use passenger transport, and it, by some estimates.

In the project progress it is going to change design of the website, to add a number of the user functions and to expand a set of electronic services. For example, users will be able to fill up the Arrow card with the help bank card and to submit the application for design Russia of the Stations and Bus Stations of Moscow cards. Besides, on the portal the personal account with registration through the Single system will appear identifications and authentications. The interactive map of Moscow will be supplemented with the scheme of the movement of electric trains and the tool for calculation of cost of a trip for the laid route. These are only the main changes which wait for visitors of the updated portal – in practice innovations is planned much more.

The basis of a system of public transport of Moscow is formed by subway lines, routes of land transport and a way of suburban railway communication. Together they form uniform infrastructure which for September, 2019 includes 269 stations of the subway, 11,308 stops of land transport and about 100 railway platforms and stations.

The Uniform transport portal of Moscow which in the automatic mode receives from external information systems up-to-date information about the movement and rates of public transport helps to select an optimal route to passengers. Besides, on the portal there is an interactive map of Moscow and the Moscow region with indication of exact location of metro stations, land stops, rental centers of bicycles, etc. Using intuitive tools and the interactive map users can make an evident route of the forthcoming trip and calculate optimal time of a way.
