ECI Telecom Neptune (NPT) Switching equipment

Neptune (NPT) is family of the equipment on the basis of MPLS, a multiservice transport platform of packets. It is equipped with a wide combination of interfaces. Supports delivery of all packets and TDM on the basis of services in convergent infrastructure.^[1]

2019: Compatibility with ViPNet Coordinator HW of a HSS

On September 10, 2019 the Infotecs company reported that together with ECI Telecom tests on compatibility of the products carried out.

Based on tests full compatibility of a switching equipment of NPT-1200, NPT-1050 of production of ECI Telecom company with the hardware and software systems ViPNet L2 10G, ViPNet Coordinator HW1000, ViPNet Coordinator HW2000 and ViPNet Coordinator HW5000 of production of Infotecs company is confirmed.

During tests functions of enciphering of network traffic, including a digital stream of E1 encapsulated in Ethernet frames by a switching equipment of ECI Telecom and ciphered using the Russian cryptographic algorithms are checked.

Overload tests during which the maximum network transmission capacity with simultaneous quality control of a communication channel is revealed are carried out (delays and losses of packets).

Integration of the equipment of ECI Telecom with the certified hardware and software systems (HSS) ViPNet will allow customers to receive the solution which will provide:

• Protection of data transmission channels according to requirements of Regulators.
• Broadcast of flows Ethernet and E1 in a secure channel of communication.
• The minimum delays in the channel of 10 GB.
• Scaling option of the protected solutions, in the range of 1-10 GB / with

On the basis of results of testing the official conclusion about compatibility guaranteeing to customers operability of the joint solution is signed.

Description of the test stand

The productions of Infotecs company allowing to cipher the channel, to load it with data streams of different types and to perform the passive analysis of traffic and its nonfunctional characteristics are entered to the scheme of the stand of a communication equipment offered ECI Telecom a HSS.
