2019: Start of the program of power supply of the Buryat farmers using solar energy

On September 12, 2019 the Hevel company reported that the government of the Republic of Buryatia started the program of power supply of farms due to technologies of solar power. The mechanism of support provides selection to farmers of subsidies for purchase of a utilities equipment necessary for conducting business activities. Subsidies cover 95% of expenses on the power station and do not include tax payments. The remained 5% of cost are paid by the farmer. The first delivery agreements of solar mini-installations are going to imprison 24 farmers.

Solar power plants with power from 5 to 15 kW will allow to solve a problem of power supply of the country farms located in the areas isolated from power network. Each installation consists of solar modules, accumulators and the inverter and can work as it is autonomous, and together with the diesel generator. Technical solution is developed Hevel Energoservice, entering into Hevel group.

Earlier similar installation was tested on country farm near the village of Biliutai of Bichursky district – for a year of use consumption of fuel managed to be reduced more than twice, at the same time having completely provided all needs of the farmer for the electric power.

After testing of the first installation we understood that it is necessary to replicate successful experience that farmers could reduce the costs on the electric power. Thanks to interaction with the regional authorities the solution on financing of such projects is found and it will give real economy of costs for the electric power for farms and small business, said the CEO of Hevel group Shakhrai Igor
