1979

MGIMO OF THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THE USSR

In 1979 graduated from MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR.

In the system of the MFA since 1979. Has extensive work experience at different positions in central office of the Ministry and its foreign institutions. Worked in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium.

In 1995 - 1998 - the head of department in DOS.

In 1998 - 2003 - the deputy of the Permanent representative of the Russian Federation at NATO.

In 2003 - 2005 - the associate director DOS.

In 2005 - 2011 - the director of the Fourth department of the CIS countries.

In 2011 - 2015 - the Permanent representative of the Russian Federation at OSCE.

Since September 21, 2015 - the director of the department of the all-European cooperation (DOS).

2019: Diplomatic rank

For September, 2019 has a diplomatic rank of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

On November 5, 2019 it is appointed the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in Great Britain.
