2019: Upgrade of a billing system

On September 19, 2019 the Bell Integrator company announced project completion of upgrade of a billing system of National settlement depositary. Thanks to the developed modules of a billing system the financial company could automate a large number of manual transactions, increase high-speed performance of a system and also flexibly configure tariff plans for the clients.

In the updated system the arriving means automatically are considered, debts are monitored and work on them is conducted, reports and settlement documents which are stored during the determined time form and also information exchange with other electronic systems and databases involved in process is performed.

Besides, automation of a large number before manual activities accelerated calculations and reduced the risks connected with a human factor.

The billing system is one of the business and critical systems of National settlement depositary. At the same time features of business of the company are like that that work with clients (large financial institutions) requires permanent expansion of the list of the rendered services and change of tariff plans. And activity of NSD is in many respects regulated by the legislation that involves need of making changes and carrying out settlement with clients in accurately specified time frames. The implemented settlement system for couples of the flexibility provides operational and low-cost adaptation to tasks of business and considers at the same time all specifics of work of NSD, noted Pavel Andrianov, the CIO of NSD

Upgrade and system testing of electronic document management.

Project Progress

Upgrade of a system is executed, the functionality of document flow with Repozitary is finished, the 3rd line of maintenance is organized, regression testing is held.

The used technologies:

• Standalone the application developed on the party of clients of NSD
• The thick client on Delphi
• Database MS SQL
• Communication with NSD through mail or web service.

Project Results

The efficiency and convenience of work of users due to business process automation is increased. Stability of system operation is provided.

Updated software Beam provides creation in electronic form of instructions; viewing information on balance of securities via the WEB CHANNEL; creation of the formalized electronic documents regulated by documents e-document flows; formation of packets of electronic documents and their sending to NPO of NSD Ltd; formation, transfer, receiving and processing of transit electronic documents; preserving and archiving of electronic documents; printing of paper copies of electronic documents; confidentiality and authentication of electronic documents.
