Biography

Maxim Zhestkov is the Russian artist and the motion-designer.

Graduated from the Ulyanovsk state university.

Portfolio: smartphone Nokia advertizing E71 (within cooperation with Universal Everything), video for Ford Fiesta, rebranding of VIVA and FTV TV channels. Also released a line of vinyl characters of Quadrics.

In 2015 is engaged in personal short films. At this time Maxim so described the diagram of life:

  • Six mornings — rise. Viewing material which in a night was rendered, exposure of a new render. Jog — about 6 kilometers on neighborhoods, a shower, a breakfast, and at 8 a.m. I sit down at work.

  • Till 12 o'clock I do not get up. If there is at all no spirit to draw, it is possible just to organize folders, to write comments or to do some more technical part of work on which the creative spirit is not required. In an hour of technical work it is possible to dive already into the scorching heat of the project and to work quietly.

  • After a lunch I sit down at continuation at once. And so till 17 o'clock.

  • In the evening — books or movies. The main cunning — not to touch the project after five in the evening. Golden rule: exactly at 5 p.m. to say goodbye to it till the morning. Happens very difficult to wait, but it only adds forces with pleasure to sit down at the project on the next morning.

  • Saturday: in the morning the pool, trips on affairs, in a week collects the mass of everything as I try not to visit the street in working everyday life.

  • Sunday: early in the morning skis (winter), about three hours on the wood. In the summer — the bicycle[1].
