2019: Creation of target DPCs

On October 30, 2019 the company "Croc" reported that it for increase in fault tolerance and ensuring smooth operation of the systems Otkrytiye bank implements the project of the target centers of processing data (DPC). In own data center the companies the main part will be located IT infrastructures. Reserve the platform will become DPC Compressor IT- CROC companies. In bank expect that economically justified effect of the project will be reached within three years.

Before putting into operation of the main DPC all equipment of bank and other companies of the Opening Group will be concentrated in data center of CROC. For October, 2019 it is placed on separate server platforms in several regions of Russia which have the different level of reliability and different diagrams of service. It complicates processes of carrying out planned works on service of the software and the equipment. Consolidation of infrastructure on one platform will increase the level of availability of IT services of bank and also will reduce holding time information and business systems. Its transfer will be executed step by step to exclude the impact of this process on work of the systems of bank.

As now IT infrastructure will be concentrated in uniform reserve data center, performance will increase due to reduction of signal delay (latency).
