On November 6, 2019 Elar reported that in the Serpukhov historical art museum the complex of contactless high-quality scanning for transfer to an electronic form of works of art and other large-format documents and volume originals appeared.

The complex of scanning of ELAR Pauerskan A0 will be used for digitization of museum objects of fixed assets: pictures, graphics, documents, fabrics and objects of a suit, arts and crafts objects.

Such works will be carried out concerning objects practically of all collections of the museum - Painting, Graphics, Documents, Photos, Rare Book, Fabrics, Archeology, Old Russian Painting, collections of applied and folk art which approach on the weight and the size technical capabilities of the scanner. So, using the equipment ELAR such exhibits of the museum as the Icon "Trinity the Antiquated" will be digitized (Pskov, is gray. 16th century), the Icon "Candlemas" (Pskov, is gray. 16th century), the Icon Rise (Pskov, is gray. 16th century), book "Interpretation on Andrey Kesariysky's Apocalypse" (end of the 18th century), altar cross (Greece, Athos, about 1627), etc.,

The scanner was purchased by the museum within Gosprogramma of the Moscow region Digital Moscow area, one of problems of which is acceleration and optimization of work on filling of Goskataloga of Museum fund of the Russian Federation information on the museum objects which are in structure of the state part of Museum fund of the Russian Federation. Besides digitization of museum objects using ELAR Pauerskan will expand opportunities and will lift exposition and exhibition activity of the museum to qualitatively higher level.
