2022: Launch of the system for monitoring the state of the traction mechanisms of the steam boiler unit TGM-96B st. No. 12

A system for monitoring the state of the traction mechanisms of the steam boiler of the TGM-96B station No. 12 was put into commercial operation Ulyanovsk TETs-1. The company Circle announced this on January 10, 2022.

The system makes it possible to remotely receive data on the parameters of electric motors of traction mechanisms (TDM) of the TGM-96B boiler unit and quickly monitor the current state, timely signaling that the controlled parameters exceed the established limits.

The monitoring system operates on the basis of the KRUG-2000 hardware (technical) complex (PAK/PTK KRUG-2000®). Data collection from sensors and signal digitization are performed by DevLink-A10 I/O modules. Data transfer to the upper level of the system is carried out through the existing controller DevLink-C1000 of the adjacent uninterruptible power supply system of the boiler unit.

Operational information on the state of the TDM is output to the AWS of the boiler unit operator with the Russian SCADA KRUG-2000 installed.

KRUG has performed the whole range of works, including design of monitoring system, manufacture and supply of CAS, installation and commissioning works.

2021: Expansion of the system of commercial metering of natural gas consumption

On April 28, 2021, KRUG announced the expansion of the existing commercial metering system for natural gas consumption (SKUG) of the Ulyanovsk TETs-1 with the connection of the GRP-1 gas metering unit.

The project was carried out to ensure the reliability and increase the accuracy of measurements of natural gas consumption parameters and achieve the required economic indicators of the enterprise's energy efficiency.

The main functions of the CHPP are the production of electricity and heat supply to consumers in the Leninsky, Zasviyazhsky and Zheleznodorozhny districts of Ulyanovsk.

Installed electric capacity - 435 MW; installed thermal capacity - 2014 Gcal/hour.

SKUG UTETs-1 operates on the basis of the Russian software and hardware complex KRUG-2000 (CAS KRUG-2000).

Collection and intermediate storage of operational and archival data from Hyperflow-3Pm sensor is performed by DevLink-C1000 controller.

Data from the controller is sent to the server under the control of SCADA KRUG-2000. TimeVisor Common Time Server provides high-precision time synchronization of network subscribers included in the system. Operational data was transferred to Gazprom Mezhregiongaz's centralized dispatching system.

The Ulyanovsk TETs-1 gas metering system based on CAS KRUG-2000 allows to generate reports for different periods of time automatically at a given time or at the request of users. In the future, it is possible to use the system to calculate additional technical and economic indicators of the operation of the thermal power plant in real time.

2019: Improving the reliability of equipment power supply

On November 12, 2019, NPF Krug announced that the reliability of the power supply to the APCS equipment of the water heating boilers of the Ulyanovsk TETs-1 had been increased.

Successfully tested a set of equipment for power supply systems of boiler units PTVM 100 st. No. 2 and st. No. 3.

A set of works was carried out using uninterruptible power supply cabinets manufactured by NPF KRUG:

  • power supply system design
  • manufacturing of uninterruptible power supply cabinets with capacity of 6000 VA
  • equipment supply
  • installation works
  • commissioning and comprehensive testing.

Earlier in the Ulyanovsk TETs-1, seven sets of equipment for power supply systems for APCS power traps of st. No. 11, No. 12, No. 13 and turbogenerators of st. No. 7 and st. No. 9 were introduced.

The company "KRUG" consistently conducts the commissioning, reconstruction, modernization of the main equipment and means of automation of technological processes in the Ulyanovsk TETs-1. Since 2005, more than a dozen systems based on KRUG-2000 CAS have been introduced and modernized, including APCS boilers, SAUG boilers, and an electricity metering system.
