2019: Announcement

In the middle of November, 2019 NXP Semiconductors provided the new NXP NCJ29D5 chip of ultrabroadband (SShP) which can turn the smartphone into an automobile key with hijack protection.

It is considered that SShP the chip provides the exact, safe orientation in real time which does not have analogs in other wireless technologies, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The devices equipped with SShP-radio station which get to an area of coverage of other device on the basis of SShP begin to calculate receptive period and transfers of response signals that allows them to be guided precisely in space relatively each other.

NXP Semiconductors provided the new NXP NCJ29D5 chip of ultrabroadband (SShP) which can turn the smartphone into an automobile key with hijack protection

At the same time a SShP-system can not only estimate location of the next device, but also its movement. For example, a system with support of SShP can define that the user approaches the closed door or that it already is in the car. In connection therewith the car solves, to open for it a door or to block.

The new chip is equipped with the integrated circuit and provides orientation in space for the cars, mobile phones and other intelligent devices equipped with SShP so the car precisely "knows" where there is a user.

Automobile "keys" on the smartphone can open doors and start the engine, activate a public address system, send the car for the autonomous parking through a special application. NXP claims that the new SShP-chip will also provide the maximum level of hijack protection of the car at which hackers usually intercept a signal from electronic key.

NXP Semiconductors cooperates with BMW Group, Continental and other companies to convince Association on development of standards in the field of connection of mobile phones to the systems of the car of need of implementation of the SShP-chip.[1]
