Sberbank announces new automated fare system for public transport

The solution provides for the installation of automatic payment devices in vehicles, which gives passengers the opportunity to independently pay for travel without the participation of conductors.

The automated system for paying and controlling travel in public transport calculates the fare automatically - based on the GPS coordinates of the passenger's entrance and exit. To do this, the passenger needs to attach a card at the entrance and exit of the vehicle at the desired stop.
