2019: Equipment of a hothouse complex energy efficient solutions

On November 25, 2019 the ABB company announced project implementation on equipment of the Moscow vertical hothouse complex the energy efficient solutions including the equipment of medium voltage and low-voltage complete devices.

Hothouse complex of Ruseko LLC

As of November, 2019 the vertical farm of Ruseko makes on the area of 6.8 hectares up to 25 tons fresher than greens and microgreens in day. Environmentally friendly products are grown up for Muscovites without harmful emissions in the environment. According to the Mayor of Moscow, vertical city farm in the future will be able to satisfy up to 40% of needs of citizens for green salads, also the amount of the oxygen selected by greens in vertical city farm is equated to the amount of the selected oxygen by plants of the Lefortovo park.

In a hothouse complex of vertical type a large number of the systems of assimilatory lighting which demanded increase in power of power supply system of an object is used. For the solution of this problem the Ruseko company addressed AVV. At the first stage of delivery for increase in power consumption of a vertical farm AVV set the 5 MW transformer substation. Besides, the high-tech and digital solutions which are specially developed by the Russian engineers of AVV for this project were included in the delivery. The digital solution package constructed based on the ATS500 controller represents a system for control and condition monitoring of transformer substation, and allows to be synchronized with the top level of an ACS (automatic management system) of all enterprise.

At the second stage of delivery of AVV equipped a hothouse complex with control cabinets assimilatory lighting: more than 140 cabinets were set. For their complete set AVV used a specialized series of contactors of AF.L and time cut-outs of the MS.L series for switching of lamp loadings. Application of energy efficient contactors of this series with low heat release and electricity consumption allows to increase in addition energy efficiency not only control cabinets assimilatory lighting, but also an object in general. In addition, control cabinets are equipped with a control system of currents of CMS allowing to analyze a status of supply circuits of assimilatory lamps and to transfer information to a supervisory console of management of the top level. The matter is that visually a human eye cannot monitor burn-out of a single lamp. However, thanks to CMS at burn-out even of one of lamps on the line, a system transmits a signal to the operator of the arisen malfunction, thereby providing growth of hothouse plants at the most effective use of resources and rational costs.

In the Ruseko project covers for NKU of transformer substation and control cabinets of production of AVV in Lipetsk, Resibloc dry transformers of production of AVV to Khotkovo of the Moscow region, the cells of medium voltage of UniSec which underwent adaptation on the production site of AVV in Moscow were used.

AVV began project works vertical with city farm in April, 2018. At a stage of balancing and commissioning engineers of AVV provided personnel training of the hothouse Ruseko complex, having paid special attention to work with a digital delivery package.
