Biography
Sergey Semyonovich Sobyanin was born on June 21, 1958 in the village of Nyaksimvol of the Tyumen region. His father was the chairman of the local Village Council, and mother - the accountant. Having graduated from rural school, S. Sobyanin went to Chelyabinsk.

In 1980 graduated from the Kostroma Institute of Technology (since March, 2016 - the Kostroma state university).

Then began a labor activity - worked as the mechanic, then the master of Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant (ChTPZ).

In 2004 S.S. Sobyanin became the first regional leader who supported the idea of canceling of direct governor's elections, and in 2005 ahead of schedule raised the question of confidence to himself before the head of state. The Russian President V.V. Putin estimated loyalty and made C.C. Sobyanin's nomination for a post of the governor of the Tyumen region then regional parliamentarians elected him for new term. In the fall of the same year of the governor included in the Presidential Council on priority national projects.
2005: Head of the Russian President Administration
Since November, 2005 - the head of the Russian President Administration, held this position future president earlier RUSSIAN FEDERATION Dmitry Medvedev. Represented the interests states in Board of Directors of the company TVEL producing nuclear fuel.

Medvedev proposed the candidacy of the Deputy Prime Minister, the head of governmental body of the Russian Federation Sergey Sobyanin for a post of the Mayor of Moscow. He was one of four candidates provided by a batch United Russia on a post of the capital city's mayor. In addition to it the list included the first Vice-Mayor of Moscow Lyudmila Shvetsova, the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Valery Shantsev and the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Igor Levitin Sergey Sobyanin[1]
On June 5, 2013 filed to the Russian President a resignation for carrying out direct elections of the Mayor of Moscow. V.V. Putin signed the decree on resignation "at own will", having appointed him the Acting the Mayor of Moscow.
On September 8, 2013 it is elected the Mayor of Moscow, on September 12 entered a position.
On September 18, 2018 repeatedly entered a position of the Mayor of Moscow.

In 2007 media called the Chief of the Presidential Administration among possible applicants for the presidency. But instead he headed the campaign headquarters of D.A. Medvedev which candidate was proposed by United Russia and V.V. Putin supported.
During operating time on federal posts C.C. Sobyanin did not make practically any political statement. With respect thereto many analysts are inclined to characterize it as a technical figure and the reliable contractor. However it still holds authority both on the Tyumen region, and on other oil subjects of Russia. Most of locals are positive for its work both on regional, and at the federal level. The political elite of regions also shows loyalty to the native of KhMAO. So, after the D.A. Medvedev's victory at presidential elections, then still the head of the headquarters S.S. Sobyanin sent to prominent politicians of the Ural Federal District mementoes - hours with a text Russian President. According to local media, all addressees carry Sobyanin gifts.
Was the chairman of the government commission on information technology implementation in activity of state bodies and local government authorities.
