Duma of the Khanty-Mansi autonomous district Yugra

The Duma of the Khanty-Mansi autonomous district Yugra was created in 1994 according to the Constitution of the Russian Federation. Last year activity of the Duma was aimed at elimination of the negative social and economic effects caused by the global economic crisis and also at legislative providing the labor and social rights of inhabitants of Yugra, increase in level and quality of life of the population, overcoming poverty, development of institutes of civil society, maintenance of sustained economic growth. For the expired year 9 meetings were held, 409 questions are considered, 671 resolutions and 256 laws of the autonomous area are adopted. To deputies of the Duma of Yugra 5997 citizens' appeals arrived.
