2019: Passing of PTK DWH of Baum Troposphere project of inspection control of the Russian Defense Ministry

On November 28, 2019 the group Astra Linux announced successful passing of inspection control of the version SOFTWARE " DWH to PTK "BAUM" the Troposphere project based on certified OS Astra Linux Special Edition on compliance to requirements security of information Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation and obtaining the certificate on the 2nd level of absence control of not declared opportunities.

Thus, in this hardware-software solution the Astra Linux Special Edition operating system is responsible for providing with the built-in certified information security tools from unauthorized access, and software "PTK DWH "BAUM" implements functionality of data storage and guarantees lack of not declared opportunities. Obtaining the certificate of the Ministry of Defence confirms that domestic DWH on the Russian OS can be applied in information systems of defense industry and other objects of KII.

Storage systems of BAUM are intended for a broad spectrum of real tasks of the modern enterprise, support block and file data access, have expanded control functions by data: instant pictures, clones, remote replication and recovery. Main advantages of DWH are the intuitive interface in Russian with the built-in modules of diagnostics, the high performance, reliability and fault tolerance due to duplication of all components and also an opportunity to be integrated with the popular application software and with "special" applications of the customer.

In the light of the last government initiatives of restriction of purchases of foreign DWH for security of critical information infrastructure of the country the similar solution becomes especially relevant and demanded.
