2019: Creation of an automated system of calculation of cost of transportation services of loads

On December 4, 2019 Corus Consulting Group reported that at its uchatstiya the automated system of calculation of cost of transportation services of loads of one of private railway operators of Russia – the Freight One (FO) is created. The solution is implemented based on SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM).

Thanks to this system specialists of the company can create in short terms the optimal commercial offer for each client. In SAP TM employees of the commercial block in 14 PGK branches work.

Now process looks as follows: when obtaining the shipping request of a load the manager of PGK enters the main information into the CRM system which transfers them to the tariff calculator. At data processing service considers a route, information on a required sort of the rolling stock, a type of cargo and other parameters and also contacts the external program - "Rail-Tarif" which helps to calculate the optimal cost of transportation. After the adoption of calculation the commercial offer forms automatically.
