2019: Announcement
In the middle of December, 2019 Konica Minolta submitted the new PACS system for ambulance at an annual meeting of RSNA 2019.
The Rede PACS2 system based on the Exa platform represents the web solution which is not requiring big costs and developed for specialized agencies, including for the orthopedic centers, organizations of emergency aid and offices of family doctors. The solution is intended for the medical centers which conduct 20,000 examinations a year and less and do not need additional functions, such as mammography or formation of accounts for payment of services.
The Rede PACS2 system includes the special mechanism of development of workflows of Konica Minolta which allows to create unique workflow on the basis of requirements of organization and volume of examinations which in it are conducted. A system is available from any computer or the mobile device which the doctor can use.
We allow medical institutions to use functionality of Exa depending on their requirements, - Kelly Martin, the area manager on IT in the field of health care in Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas explained. |
At the same RSNA 2019 conference the Konica Minolta company announced start of the tool on the basis of radio frequency identification (RFID) which will provide a safe input of employees in image processing systems. This solution, according to developers, will allow to increase security of a system and to provide its compliance to requirements of HIPAA.
The Konica Minolta Insights dashboards which analyze information on use of the visualization medical systems became one more important declaration: the total amount of inspections, quantity and the reasons of unsuccessful inspections and also radiation levels at application of the systems of digital roentgenography of CS-7 and Ultra and the Exa Enterprise Imaging platform.[1]
