At the beginning of January, 2020 Samsung Electronics provided the Ballie robot who goes for the person and helps about the house. Its appearance reminds the reduced version of the droid of BB-8 from "Star Wars: Awakening of force".

As Sebastian Seung, the executive vice president and the chief researcher in Samsung implemented in the robot support of artificial intelligence directly on the device (On-Device AI) told allows this robot to execute at the same time a role of the assistant and a peculiar mobile interface which is capable to find solutions for constantly changing needs of people. It can carry out these tasks, providing at the same time security blanket of data and confidentiality.

The artificial intelligence on the device allows you to control completely your information, at the same time providing complete opportunities for personalisation.

The Ballie robot can manage devices of the smart house: it opens curtains in the morning, the robot vacuum cleaner causes to scavenge, turns on to the missing dog the TV and then plays with her, etc.

Ballie is supplied with the built-in sensors and the camera for navigation on the premises, recognitions of the person and driving near it.

Besides, the robot helps the hostess during fitness classes and records video with pets and family members which sends then to the smartphone to owners.

Terms of the beginning of sales of Ballie by the beginning of January, 2020 are not called.^[1]
