2023: Stock price up 85% for the day
By 16:00 Moscow time on July 27, 2023, the value of Globaltruck shares on the Moscow Exchange reached 152 rubles, which is 85% more than the day before. The reasons for the rise in quotations are not named, but it is known that a month before this rise, the company launched unmanned cargo transportation on the Moscow-Petersburg route.
Due to the rise in price of shares by more than 20%, the Moscow Exchange held a discrete auction for them in the "T + Trading Mode." After its completion, Globaltruck's securities quotations continued to grow.
The chief investment consultant of Veles Capital Investment Company Dmitry Sergeyev, in a conversation with RIA Novosti, suggested that investors could confuse the securities of Globaltrans and Globaltruck (Globaltrak), provoking a rapid increase in the value of the latter.
Shares of GTE (Globaltruck Managenemt) have low liquidity, and any rumors can lead to sharp changes in prices. It can be assumed that the Monopoly Investment group plans to increase its price offer to buy back shares from Globaltruck shareholders. Another reason may be that some investors simply confused Globaltruck securities with Globaltrans securities, according to which there was news yesterday about the redomication from Cyprus, Sergeyev said. |
Globaltruck is one of the largest road freight carriers in Russia, carries out transportation, including abroad, and also expedites cargo. The company's own assets amount to more than 1,200 tractors in operation (by the end of July 2023).

We are also looking at self-driving in a more global perspective.
