Kuzbassrazrezugol purchased 8 UAVs for surveying works, accomplishment of aerial photography and thermovision monitoring

2019: Purchase of 8 UAVs

On January 21, 2020 it became known that Kuzbassrazrezugol Coal Company (the enterprise of a raw complex of UMMC) purchased 8 unmanned aerial vehicles. The equipment is intended for surveying works, accomplishment of aerial photography and thermovision monitoring.

Use of the innovative technology will help surveyors of the company to perform work more effectively, namely – will improve the accuracy of calculations and efficiency of measurements, and that is important, will increase labor safety. Quadcopters are capable to work in difficult weather conditions and provide remote control of mining operations. On the basis of data retrieveds using the special software specialists Kuzbassrazrezugol will create digital models of the enterprises.

Use of unmanned aerial vehicles – one of the first and most responsible stages of digitalization of production. From that, the mathematical model will be how precisely constructed, the efficiency of design, the analysis and production management depends. Quadcopters came to all branches and to the office of the coal company, for management of 11 specialists of them underwent special training. Further increase in the air fleet Kuzbassrazrezugol is planned. All equipment undergoes compulsory procedure of registration in Rosaviatsiya^[1].
