Performance indicators
2024: Revenue reduction by 35% to RUB 196.54 billion
As TAdviser found out in early September 2025, the coal producer Kuzbassrazrezugol received revenue of 196.54 billion rubles in 2024. For comparison, a year earlier, the figure reached 302.31 billion rubles. Thus, a drop of more than a third was recorded - by 35%.
Kuzbassrazrezugol records a significant reduction in revenue for the second year in a row. In particular, in 2022, the company received 431.5 billion rubles. That is, in two years the indicator has more than halved.
The published report says that in 2024, the share of processed coal in the company's total production amounted to 92.35%. At the same time, the volume of processed coal at its own facilities increased by 7.85% compared to 2023. Consumers in 2024 shipped 97% of the declared plan. The failure to achieve the goals is due to the infrastructure restrictions of the railway. The main buyers of mined coal are companies in the power, metallurgy and housing and communal services sectors, using coal for the production of electricity, heat or as a raw material component in the production of industrial products (alumina, cement, etc.).
According to the results of work in 2024, mined coal is characterized by the following qualitative indicators: ash content 15.6%, moisture 8.2%, heat of combustion of working fuel 6072 kcal/kg (Ke=0.867). The ash content of coal mined was lower compared to 2023 by 0.5% and to the plan by 0.7%. The decrease was due to a decrease in the share of oxidized coals in the mining structure.
Kuzbassrazrezugol is one of the oldest coal mining companies in Russia. It conducts open development of coal deposits in the Kemerovo region. The Company provides a full production cycle and applies advanced technologies at all stages - from geological exploration and production to enrichment and shipment of finished products to consumers.[1]
