2020: The offer of Allot SSG as PacketShaper replacement

On March 24, 2020 Allot company, the solution provider on network analytics and the solutions "security as service" for service providers and the organizations worldwide, announced that Broadcom selected him as the recommended supplier for transition from the laid-off PacketShaper product line to the service gateway Allot Secure Service Gateway (SSG).

After merger of Broadcom, Symantec Enterprise Division decided to stop release of a product line of PacketShaper to concentrate on the market of software for corporate security. The end of support (End of Life) of the products PacketShaper will happen on March 31, 2020. Within the partnership agreement Allot offers attractive financial terms and discounts for replacement of products to help clients to pass with Symantec PacketShaper to the similar products Allot. These conditions will work during the whole 2020.

The service gateway Allot SSG using the platform of network analytics Allot offers similar efficiency with visibility and control of network and also additional opportunities: capacity up to 150 Gbps and 600,000 politician on one device, centralized operation, optimization of TCP entering and outgoing DDoS and Anti-Bot protection and also web security, including URL filtering and protection against malware.
