Own service center of Geksagon company performs diagnostics and repair of the equipment and also delivery of spare parts.

Proton trademark

The company develops own Proton trademark under which the equipment for shaped coding is issued. Year of birth of the Proton brand is considered 2004. Originally under this brand only contact CCDs the Proton CCS-2100 scanners and contactless image the ICS-1100 scanners were issued. Then the range of Proton was complemented wireless image by the Proton ICS-3100 scanner and the inexpensive contactless CCS-4100 scanner. Also under the Proton trademark thermal printers of labels are issued.

The equipment is intended for automation of sales process of goods, accounting of stock balance, goods acceptance on a warehouse, workflow automation, mailings, departures of loads and also passing of parts of production phases.

All products of Proton are completely certified and ready to sale in the territory of the Russian Federation. The instruction in Russian is always included in the delivery. Guarantee period 1 year.

History

The Geksagon company is registered by state bodies on October 20, 1997. In fact the history of the company begins slightly earlier. In May, 1997 within consolidation of group New Computer Technologies the department of shaped coding was formed. Emergence of such department was logical and justified. The NKT company for many years is the leader of the Russian market of technologies on the basis of smart cards. And technology of shaped coding together with technology on the basis of smart cards form the separate direction of automatic identification.

This direction includes:

• biometric identification;
• radio frequency identification (RFID);
• technology of identification on the basis of magnetic stripe cards and magnetic ink;
• technology of touch screens (touch screen).

Thus, 6 different technologies enter a concept automatic identification. By the way, for this reason the start-up company received the name Geksagon (hexarun is a hexagonal geometrical figure). From the moment of the creation the company focused on supplies of equipment for marking of products and work with the shaped code.

In the first year of the existence of Geksagon executed a number of interesting and significant projects among which there is a delivery of a large number of mobile terminals of data collection of Casio and Datamax printers to one of the largest Russian pharmaceutical distributors. A bit later TD "Biblio-Globus" joined the list of clients of the company - the leader of the domestic market of book-trade purchased data collection terminals of Casio for automation of the procedure of inventory.

In the late nineties the technology of shaped coding in our country appeared the alcoholic and pharmaceutical products which were very demanded for control of turnover. Geksagon there could not be away from this process and at first for administration of the Astrakhan region acted as the consultant and the supplier of means for printing and reading of a barcode from a regional excise stamp, and began to supply the similar equipment and supplies to excise warehouses through the whole country later. In 2002 the company became the direct partner of global manufacturers of thermotransfer printers - Zebra and Datamax.

In 2004 sale of the equipment under own Proton trademark begins.

In 2005 the new direction - production of self-adhesive labels which in 2007 was issued in Fleksmar subsidiary company was open. In 2005 - 2006 branches of the Center of Shaped Coding Geksagon in St. Petersburg, Kiev and Alma-Ata opened. In 2007 the branch in Yekaterinburg was added to them. In 2007 the company became the direct partner of Toshiba-TEC and began delivery of highly reliable printers of this producer to the markets of Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. In 2007 the company received the status Zebra Premier Partner.
