Rostelecom implemented "The safe city" in the extreme northeast of Chukotka

2020: Implementation of Bezopasny gorod (agrarian and industrial complex)

Rostelecom started the hardware-software complex (HSC) "Safe city" on the very brink of the continent — in Anadyr and the Anadyr region of Chukotka Autonomous Okrug. Rostelecom reported about it on February 6, 2020.

Bezopasny gorod agrarian and industrial Complex integrated System 112, city on duty and dispatching offices and emergency operational services, cameras of street video surveillance, complexes of condition monitoring of the environment and the systems of housing and communal services. At the municipal and regional levels unified information environment for intersystem and interdepartmental interaction of the services and enterprises involved in security of life activity of the population is created.

Within the project on subjects to heat and water supply of the capital of Chukotka and the settlement Coal Mines are implemented monitoring systems of operability of the equipment. For control of state of environment in Anadyr posts of meteorological and chemical control are started. On streets of Anadyr and Coal Mines 15 video cameras are installed. They are united in a single system of intellectual video surveillance which allows to monitor remotely a situation on streets, to timely reveal and prevent illegal acts. For information transfer in a single system of Bezopasny gorod agrarian and industrial Complex all vital infrastructure facilities and also services and the enterprises of localities communication is provided with secure channels.

'The safe city' is an end-to-end multi-layer system which should increase the level of protection of the population and infrastructure of the cities and settlements from natural, technogenic and criminogenic threats. In 2020 specialists of Rostelecom will continue work on creation of similar complexes of public security in the cities of Pevek and Bilibin, told the vice president — the director of MRF "Far East" of PJSC Rostelecom Alexander Loginov

Rostelecom conducts work on creation and implementation of pilot section of Bezopasny gorod agrarian and industrial Complex in the territory of the region within the public contract signed with management of civil protection and a fire service of Chukotka Autonomous Okrug.
