On February 10, 2020 Konica Minolta reported that the L'Artegrafica family company purchased jet the CFM of a sheet UV printing of the B2+ format from Konica Minolta. It offered prospects the enterprise: a possibility of entry into the market of packaging and printing on a canvas and plastics. Commissioning of Konica Minolta AccurioJet KM-1 took place in January, 2020, replaced with the CFM four machines in the division of L'Artegrafica which is engaged in digital printing.

Acquisition of the machine will allow L’Artegrafica to upgrade production, for example, of cards of loyalty for local market, the UV printing is available both on standard carriers, and on special materials with a density up to 600 g/m2. Earlier production of cards of loyalty was two-stage – at first the image was applied by an offset method to carriers with a density of 400 g/m2, and then cards were laminated. But two-stage process was expensive and took a lot of time, at the same time product quality did not conform to requirements.

The possibility of project development on the basis of augmented reality which will open for the enterprise from Trevizo other markets, in particular, the market of packaging and upclassing of printed materials became additional benefit of cooperation with Konica Minolta. L’Artegrafica is provided expanded support from Konica Minolta, it gives the chance of participation in the Konica Minolta Marketing Services projects and also training for commercial specialists and operators.

Intergrirovannoye with AccurioJet KM-1 the software will help L’Artegrafica more effectively and with smaller costs to manage incoming orders, in particular in a highly competitive segment of printing of format 50x70. More and more works will be transferred from offset to digital printing as AccurioJet KM-1 from Konica Minolta can work with a broad spectrum of carriers of the increased B2+ format, at the same time the preliminary praymirovaniye of carriers is not required.

In our traditional markets there are rapid changes, besides, we try to enter other markets, high quality of products, profitable printing of short circulations and the personalized products for this purpose is necessary. Acquisition of AccurioJet KM-1 gives us the chance to considerably expand a range of materials for printing. It is a key factor of our strategy of digitalization, thanks to it we can expand a range of services and reduce costs. We consider that the jet UV printing is the future of digital production, and we continue to transfer to the implemented machine it is more and more works from the offset systems.
