2022: Yuri Voinov appointed head of DITSIZ
Major General of the Internal Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Yuri Voinov was appointed head of the Department of Information Technology, Communications and Information Protection (DITSIZ). This was announced on January 31 in a personal telegram channel by the chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technology and Communications Alexander Khinshtein. According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on appointments to senior positions in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Yuri Voinov has been the acting head of the DITSIZI of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for several months: from 2020, when Major General Alexander Balaev left the post, and until the spring of 2021. In November 2020, Yuri Voinov was awarded the title of Major General of the Internal Service. Since the spring of 2021, he was listed as the first deputy head of this department.
The curator of digitalization of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vitaly Shulika, according to the results of 2021, TAdviser included him in the TOP-25 most influential people in the field of digitalization of the public sector. The department's digitalization budget for 2021-2023 is 61 billion rubles.
Ildar Safiullin, who temporarily acted as head of DITSIZ since the summer of 2021, was appointed head of the Main Information and Analytical Center (GIAC MVD) by decree of the President of the Russian Federation. Before the appointment of Ildar Safiullin, this position was held from July 2020 by Major General Vladimir Ageev.
In addition to the leaders of DITSIZ and GIAC, Vladimir Putin appointed seven more new chiefs in the Ministry of Internal Affairs:
- Police Lieutenant General Oleg Kalinkin became the head of the State University in transport;
- Major General of the Police Ivan Gorbunov - Head of the State University for Drug Control;
- Major General of the Internal Service Alexander Yurchin - Head of the Department of Logistics and Medical Services;
- Colonel Valery Kalachev - head of the Interpol CS;
- Police Colonel Roman Terentyev - Head of the Department of International Cooperation;
- Police Colonel Maxim Petrushin - Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Ulyanovsk Region;
- Police Colonel Andrei Gluzdakov - Head of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Southern Administrative District of the GUMVD of Moscow.
