The goals of the project included optimizing the technological processes of the warehouse division, ensuring the timely and correct accounting of stored products, as well as minimizing the costs associated with the processing of goods in the warehouse.

During the project, AXELOT specialists carried out significant work to streamline warehouse processes. So, for example, preliminary acceptance of goods, entry of high temperature and marking of goods at the entrance, sorting in the process of acceptance and placement of goods by commodity zones and floors of the mezzanine were organized. Transit zones have been created, joint storage of various types of containers has been implemented and cross-docking functionality has been introduced.

In terms of the outbound flow of goods, the functionality for retail sales and automatic write-off of products is configured. Additional control has been introduced on the fact of the selection of goods for branches, selection on the orders of branches is carried out in the appropriate cells. The possibility of single-piece sampling from any area of the warehouse has been implemented, the functionality for picking/disassembly of goods has been implemented. Responsibility areas have been entered for the warehouse personnel, tasks are assigned to the executors according to this distribution.

The WMS system was integrated with the enterprise information system through the DATAREON MQ product. A single information space has been created for the operational management of all warehouse processes.

Thus, all the goals of the project were achieved. Thanks to automation, it was possible to significantly optimize warehouse processes, reduce the costs associated with the processing of goods, streamline accounting and control over the goods in the warehouse, and also reduce dependence on personnel. Further plans include the development of the implemented system and the automation of other warehouses of the company.
