2020: Creation of a system of goal setting and efficiency evaluation in a cloud of SAP
On March 10, 2020 SAP CIS reported that the Neftetransservis company, one of chief operators of the rolling stock in Russia, constructed the modern system of goal setting and efficiency evaluation of employees based on the SAP solution SuccessFactors. The EKOPSI company acted as the partner in implementation.
Neftetransservis was faced by a task to build the clear and simple systems of calculation of effectiveness and awarding where the interrelation between the executed purposes and amount of remuneration is accurately traced. For rather small period the company grew in tens of times, activity scales seriously changed, and procedures remained the same. In such conditions the existing process of goal setting ceased to correspond to dynamics of development and did not allow to keep track qualitatively and timely of efficiency of employees. It was impossible to monitor in real time achievements and to estimate effectiveness, there was no possibility of dialog between the head and the subordinate, there were indistinct evaluation criteria, large volume of paper work and there was no single system of data storage.
After SAP implementation SuccessFactors Performance and Goals Management became possible on a regular basis to trace the purposes with the relevant status at any moment both the subordinate, and the head, to quickly receive analytics on the individual employee and on command in general. The interface became simpler and convenient in use. The number of paper and routine work was as a result reduced, process of assessment of the employee was reduced from two months to two weeks. Thus, based on SAP SuccessFactors of the company it was succeeded to build for half a year complete HR process on goal setting, monitoring of their achievement and assessment.
The company received the effective tool which allows each employee to see the purposes and the achieved results on them. The head had an opportunity to manage consciously efficiency of the command, to affect dynamics of achievement of result, to see objective assessment of the work. The team of the customer during the project did huge work, having perfected methodology and having verified parts of processes of goal setting and regular assessment. In a system some special solutions are implemented: for example, it allows heads to monitor effectiveness of employees on a monthly basis and to start an additional cycle of assessment on the most productive with participation of higher heads. In a system really there live heads and employees, using it as the practical tool.
