79 deputy ministers and municipal heads of Tatarstan are ready to pass to digital methods of work in the departments

2020: 79 government employees were trained according to the program "CDTO: head of digital transformation"

On March 12, 2020 the Innopolis University reported that the public and municipal servants of Tatarstan from October, 2019 to March, 2020 were trained according to the program "CDTO: the head of digital transformation" at the University Innopolis.

Training for 36 deputy heads of the ministries, the state committees, services and 43 heads of executive committees and councils of municipal districts took place in three stages. At the first stage in October commands formulated cases and defined a circle of tasks for subordinates who studied the management based on data. During the remote module future CDTO controlled process of the solution of assigned tasks. At the final stage on March 12 — 13 listeners will analyze work of the subordinates who developed projects of digitalization. Together with experts government employees will work model of implementation of projects in departments in which they work.

At the request of the president of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, in each ministry, department, municipality without staff increase of employees deputies for digital transformation are appointed. Graduates of the program of the University Innopolis "CDTO — Chief Digital Transformation Officer: the head of digital transformation" on places will control digitalization and work with Big Data in the region.

The CDTO program is aimed at formation of necessary competences at leaders of digital transformation which will become conductors of digital development in regions. Heads of public sector changed idea of effective management, having taken courses about information security, ethics of Big Data and digital reengineering. Our educational program allows to be focused easier for solving of tasks, defined within the Digital Economy of Russia national project,

At the end of 2019 the Innopolis University within the federal project "Personnel for Digital Economy" trained 2150 government employees of Russia according to the "CDO (Chief Data Officer) — the management based on data" program. Also the IT university carried out training for 41 CDO managers from subjects of Russia with departure to Singapore and Barcelona. In total the Innopolis University for March, 2020 trained 3,950 people from 21 subjects of the Russian Federation according to programs of training for digital economy.
