2020: Implementation of MGI JETvarnish 3DS

On March 12, 2020 the company Konica Minolta Business Solutions Russia reported that at the beginning of February, 2020 it put into operation in printing houses "Goode Print" Yekaterinburg () the jet lakirovalny machine MGI JETvarnish 3DS with the stamping module iFoil S foil.

According to the company, until recently for varnishing and stamping the foil at the enterprise used traditional technologies which required creation of lakirovalny forms and a cliche and did not allow to offer the client accomplishment of these services in a short time and small circulations. For the solution of these problems and also expansion of a range of services of printing house, the management made the decision on acquisition of the digital machine for varnishing and stamping by a foil. In selection process solutions of different producers, but as a result, on set of parameters "opportunity/cost/service" were studied, gave preference to MGI. The important role in the choice was played by old and good relations with the Russian representative office of Konica Minolta which services several years the installed digital printing machines.

The purchase contract MGI was signed at the end of 2019. In January, 2020 the machine arrived to Yekaterinburg. February, 2020 left on installation and personnel training of printing house, and in March the first commercial circulations were already made.

According to the head Buzzing of Print, for March, 2020 in the market is not present demand for "digital" varnishing and stamping by a foil – clients just do not know about opportunities of the similar equipment therefore the printing house should create the market actually. Some works will be transferred to MGI from a cliche, some - to be created from scratch.

Practically any customer can have interest in limited products with varnish and a foil. We at the very beginning of a way therefore for March, 2020 it is difficult to tell how this direction will develop, but one of the most perspective to me the market of cardboard packaging which we release seems. Exactly here all chance which this machine gives us are most brightly shown. Together with it we are going to work actively and in an advertizing segment – here too there is a place of bonus products with additional finishing by varnish and a foil.
