2020: Transfer of 1C in a cloud

On March 15, 2020 reported to Softline that the Rostov construction company "CK 10" transferred a 1C system to a cloud of Softline. The service provider could provide optimal specifications, flexible financial model and a possibility of flexible scaling of capacities for optimal system operation.

At the end of 2019 the management of CK 10 thought of need of updating of the server hardware: a part of the capacities which are available for the company is obsolete, and did not meet the requirements of smooth operation of a 1C system. Originally the organization intended to update the existing park of the equipment and looked for the IT partner who would help with the choice and delivery of the hardware solution.

Experts of Softline offered several candidate solutions of this task, feasibility statements on purchase, payment by installments, leasing and lease of cloud resources were prepared. Having carried out the analysis and comparison of offers stopped on migration option in a cloud, when comparing cost of resource consumption in the long term 3-5 years this model was more profitable. Use of a cloud service gives to the customer the chance to transfer capital expenditure to operating rooms that is especially profitable taking into account specifics of construction business which means requirement available of the large volume of current assets.

The high-performance processor with a big indicator of clock rate is necessary for fast work of 1C. For the solution of this task Softline offers the customers a special cloud cluster with a special profile of loading. Its distinctive feature – processors with a frequency of 3 GHz whereas standard frequency as a rule is 2.2-2.6 GHz. The cluster works in the cloud of Softline created based on virtualization of VMware. It should be noted high degree of the involvement into the project of IT department of CK 10 company and their attention to parts, told Dmitry Kravchenko, the manager on development of cloud solutions of Softline group in the Southern Federal District

As a result the client received IT infrastructure. At the same time, he has an opportunity quickly and cheap to increase capacities according to business needs. After 4 months of stable work in a cloud the customer made the decision to increase the volume of the consumed resources by 30%
