2020: Announcement of Ansys RaptorH
On March 17, 2020 the Ansys company announced product output of Ansys RaptorH which will allow engineers to accelerate and in general to improve design process of 5G networks, three-dimensional (3D-IC) and radio-frequency integrated circuits and to use them in such innovative solutions as intelligent devices, antenna arrays and storage systems.
According to the company, electromagnetic calculations are extremely important at design of the most different chips – from the high-performance systems on a crystal for the mobile devices supporting a 5G, and network infrastructure to the radio-frequency transmitters used in the autonomous CU and industrial Internet of Things. Overcoming the problems connected with undesirable noises often requires a lot of time. It leads to lengthening of design cycles, increase in risks, increase in costs and insufficiently optimal performance. Ansys RaptorH will allow to overcome these problems.
The high-integrated analysis system of Ansys RaptorH allows designers to model electromagnetic processes in different parts of nanometer ICs: in three-dimensional multi-chip ICs, silicon interpozer and advanced packaging, as a result reducing duration of design cycles, helping to increase reliability and integrity of signals.
Developer companies of electronics of the next generation face that entry into the market takes them more and more time as they try to solve incredibly complex problems of design, using the expensive systems subject to errors. Having integrated software of HFSS and RaptorX in single solution, Ansys will provide the tool for effective solution of the problems connected with undesirable electromagnetic effects in different high-speed and high-performance devices. John Li, the vice president and the general manager of Ansys told |
Modern technologies, such as unmanned vehicles and Internet of Things, show increasing requirements to data transmission. It is necessary to transfer steadily more and more information volumes for short term, in the conditions of influence of electromagnetic interferences. Teams of experienced engineers work on creation of electronics on a limit of technological capabilities. Increase in speeds of transmitting and receiving and information processing involves expansion of frequency range of operation of electronics that in turn leads to the fact that developers of integrated circuits should consider others for themselves high-frequency features with which developers of the Microwave engineering are well familiar. In the place with that very high frequencies engineers have not enough experience in development of semiconductors. The product ANSYS RaptorH allows to solve this problem and to help to create high-quality ultramodern electronics, combining two solutions ANSYS HFSS and ANSYS RaptorX, popular in the areas. Alexander Kruglov, the head "Autonomous Transport and 5G Networks" of JSC KADFEM Si-Ay-Es company, the elite partner of Ansys told |
