First of all the geolocation of users was entered in the city of Recife. A system traces not less than 700,000 smartphones to estimate observance of quarantine measures. Many Brazilians, especially from the most vulnerable sectors of society, continue to work, despite risk, and the government intends to reveal these points of potential spread of a virus.

We control quarters using assessment of collective data. Such technique allows us to take a number of measures, for example, to send to problem areas cars with loudspeakers or notifications via the smartphone — the mayor Geraldo Júlio explained.

InLoco provides to the authorities through the whole country reports which include the ratings of social distancing on areas given on observance of measures of a quarantine in certain quarters and also places where people gather, leaving houses.

InLoco claims that they provide complete confidentiality of the provided information. They aggregate data in clusters and present only in the form of the generalized reports. It is only about identification of potentially dangerous areas which require bigger attention from the authorities for ensuring social distancing.[1]
